This year, the children are involved in the annual project “A scuola di natura”. Here’s how we’re working on it:
Today, The Very Hungry Caterpillar brought us… strawberries!🍓
The children couldn’t wait to taste them, but they learned that the time they had to wait was important… strawberries don’t grow in winter! We discovered that their proper season is spring. 🌷☀️
We observed their triangular shape and thought of other objects that look similar. We looked at them closely and described them in detail, and then we tasted them… some children liked them, while others not so much!
Finally, we drew them, including all their details.
