The Very Hungry Caterpillar- 5th and 6th November

 

Kids this year will participate to the annual project "A scuola di natura". Here's how we're working on it. 

Red and Blue lions discovered the popular story of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar"! From Monday to Friday the little caterpillar ate a lot of different fruits...but he was still hungry. So, on Saturday he ate a chocolate cake, a lollipop, a sausage and much much more! Oh-oh...no wonder he had a big stomach ache afterwards 😵

We talked about the importance of eating fruit and vegetables everyday and we understood that some things are very yummy, but not good to eat very often. 😋

Kids then represented the little caterpillar using a special technique: painting with balloons! 

With a jump and a boing, they made beautiful art works 🎨

In the following weeks, the little caterpillar will bring kids all the foods he tried 🥭🍎🍉🍐 to observe, manipulate and taste! Yum, thank you caterpillar! 🐛
